Let me tell you about the Tuesday I almost walked away. I'd had a rough week. Scale hadn't moved. Energy was flat. I was tired of explaining myself to people who weren't in my body. I sat in my kitchen and thought, maybe this isn't for me.

It wasn't a new plan. It wasn't a harder workout. It was a nap, a protein-forward dinner, and someone to tell me — gently — that plateaus are part of the process, not the end of it.

The 24-hour rule

Before you quit anything that matters to you, give it one more day. Sleep on it. Eat. Hydrate. Then decide. Most of my "I want to quit" moments didn't survive a good night's sleep.
